Your Guide to the 4th of July

Here's your family-friendly guide to the 4th of July this year! Events may be few, but the fun will be memorable!

Here are several 4th of July events currently planned for the Phoenix-metro area:

GILBERT

 


Gilbert's Centennial 4th of July Celebration - Bring the family down to Crossroads Park (2155 E. Knox Road) for food trucks, fun, and of course, FIREWORKS!!! This event is free, and feel free to bring food and beverages (excluding alcohol). Attendees must stay within 5 ft of their vehicles, and maintain groups of 8 people or less. Social distancing is highly recommended. Fireworks will begin at 8:30 pm (weather permitting).

Gilbert's Fireworks - This 4th of July, take a drive over to Higley High School (4068 E. Pecos Rd) for family fun, food trucks, and FIREWORKS!!! This event is FREE for everyone, so bring a blanket and a comfortable chair, and enjoy the celebration of our nation. Fireworks will start at 8:30 pm.

MESA

Arizona Celebration of Freedom Drive-in Firework Show - Try something new this year, and participate in our free drive-in firework show at Fiesta Mall (1425 W. Southern Ave) from 9 - 9:30 pm. Vehicles will be guided to park in every other spot, and each space on one side is designated for viewing. Please maintain social distancing out of respect for everyone. Bring your family, food, beverages (minus alcohol), and fun! No vendors will be present.

CHANDLER

July 4th Fireworks Spectacular - Come on down to Tumbleweed Park (2250 S. McQueen Rd) on Independence Day for Chandler's free drive-in fireworks show! Spaces are limited, and are on a first-come-first-serve basis! Join the fun, and stay safe this holiday! No personal fireworks are allowed. Chandler's fireworks will begin at 9 pm.

QUEEN CREEK 



Hometown 4th at Schnepf Farms - Schnepf Farms (24810 E. Rittenhouse Rd) invites you to their annual *hometown celebration* with live music, food trucks, vendor marketplace, and a Beer and Wine Garden! Feel refreshed with your family as you take in the holiday fun and watch the fireworks together under the stars! Tickets for this event can only be purchased online; no tickets will be sold at the gate! Fireworks will begin at 8:30 pm (weather permitting).

SCOTTSDALE

Scottsdale 4th of July - Expect a patriotic drive-up celebratory experience this year at WestWorld of Scottsdale (16601 N. Pima Rd), plus an old fashioned parade honoring heroes! Roger Clyne and Peacemakers will also be performing. Fireworks will start approximately at 9 pm. There are many tickets and options to choose from, so check out the event website for more information.

PEORIA



All-American Festival at Home - The City of Peoria plans to host its annual All-American Festival on July 4th with a special twist this year! They're bringing the fun into your home all day with a live streaming experience for your computer, TV, or mobile device. This will include a BBQ cook-off, bike parade, cannonball competition, ending the day with the largest display of fireworks in the Valley blasting off at 9 pm (viewable from backyards)! Celebrate liberties while staying safe at home with family this year!
