Blast Off Into an Intergalactic LEGO® World!

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Arizona’s Space

Mission Set for Launch Friday, March 10

Tempe, Ariz. (March 7, 2017) – Gear up for an out-of- this world experience at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Arizona. Space Mission, a hotly anticipated addition to the Arizona Mills Mall attraction, takes off Friday, March 10, and will welcome visitors through year’s end.

Space Mission grants guests of all ages an opportunity to explore far-off planets, encounter signs of life in new worlds, take over mission-control operations and even lend a hand in constructing a state-of- the-art space shuttle. The Grand Opening ceremony is slated for 10 a.m., and representatives from the Challenger Space Center will have a variety of gear and space-centric goodies onsite for visitors to check out, from a real-life space suit and a Van de Graff generator to inflatable planet models and more.

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Arizona’s Master Model Builder Alecsander Posta has also been working hard ahead of the outer-space takeover, and he’s created a LEGO® version of the famed Hubble telescope that visitors can check out at the entirely new LEGO® building area throughout the duration of the festivities.
